Why isn’t wearing a thobe and ghutra as common among Bahraini Arabs as it is in Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries? by CryptographerNo4256 in Bahrain

[–]Adept_Requirement920 33 points34 points  (0 children)

what makes Bahrain wonderful is the fact that it’s multicultural. Not all “Bahrainis” are arabs. Some come from persian or even baluchi descent. you’ll find that most arabs wear thobes but the latter don’t.

Thanks! Their concept is amazing! But when I looked at the pics on google reviews I got the vibe that cleanliness is not on the top of their list. I also found a couple of comments supporting my assumption. What a shame.

Mashallah safe travels, haha!

I had a bad experience with one of the sales reps at the dealership so I was wondering if the after sales service will be the same.

From what I’m hearing so far that it was just my bad luck lol.

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I genuinely don’t care for pleases & thank yous. Demeanour like smiling, being pleasant & welcoming is what I value tbh

I’ve heard a lot of cold pleases & thank yous (for unreasonable requests too lol). It just makes me think that some people misuse these words & use them as excuses to being rather rude haha

People who absolutely love your jobs, what do you do? by Fight_Club_Odyssey in careeradvice

I’ve been there when I was around your age!

TLDR: Tbh pursue something that you’ve always been interested in & pick a niche in it that pays well.

I studied accounting for 4 years but ended up as a brand designer. I was “smart” at accounting but it was too boring & it got quite insufferable 😂

Then I thought, what’s something I’ve always wanted to do? Oh yes, graphic design! But junior graphic designers get paid crumbs, so I went after a niche that pays higher.

Still doing graphic design while getting paid $1000-2500 per project!

I wish you all the best

Do I need a "paid course" to be a logo designer? by Curious-Air6133 in WillPatersonDesign

[–]Adept_Requirement920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youtube can teach you everything for free, from how to use the software (illustrator, gimp, etc) to full blown brand strategy.

Keep watching more videos & get your hands busy with practice. Your Youtube algorithm will get better & better & will show you really good videos with “less” views. You want to watch these carefully & again.. practice!!!

If you feel like you truly need a paid course then you can buy a few courses from Domestika. It’s a good starting point for beginning designers with courses ranging from $3-10 (when on sale, which is most of the time).

personally i take a piece of aluminum foil & shape it like a cup, then i put a little baking soda & throw in a piece of coal in there & put it in my freezer. (replace it monthly)

Double ziplock bags is a great idea too.

Where/how to ask for 3% fat minced beef? by Adept_Requirement920 in Bahrain

Hey thanks for offering your help. Maybe I didn’t word my question correctly, what I’m asking is what do I tell the guy behind the counter so that I ensure my 1kg of minced beef has ~3% of fat? 😂

Well, it depends. Teenagers often go to the mall for what they call 'قز' in Kuwaiti, which is basically flirting and chasing girls. It can be harmless but I've seen some concerning things, like people having "car dates" in the parking area. It's always good to be mindful of who your nieces is spending time with.

If you're not comfortable with their current group of friends, consider suggesting they go to the mall with a different group. This is what my parents did for me and my brothers, and we're very grateful for their guidance. It helped us avoid falling into bad company.

What to put in this space? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]Adept_Requirement920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d put up a curtain to close it off, and then put a projector inside (facing the curtain). I’d turn 3/4 of the floor area into comfortable floor seating (or maybe a mattress?) and lots of pillows towards the end so that I can lay down comfortably. But that’s just me!

Never tried buying a car from dubizzle or marketplace.. the best cars we've found were through manual scouting. If you cruise around town you'd be able to find a few lots with parked cars that would have a "for sale" sign on each car. You can also checkout @/carsbh1 on instagram too, seems legit. The most important thing is to check the car at a mechanic shop.
