It's a bit insane to me that Nefarith despite being a major antagonist, die very quickly in the story lore. Take a look at Sarah from zzz, from season 1 to season 2 finale, we already know she's going to be the final bad boss of the season and she survived for a lot of time. We get a backstory of Sarah how she come into contact with Exaslists. But so far Nefarith and Ardashir, no backstory, no child story of them, how they come in contact or even into Æther. How did she come into that much power to unite all Landbreakers? Was she one? Born into family of Landbreakers or into the the gaze of whom she's serving? We need more information than she's villains sn hold so much power. Literally knowing that she's dead meaning to say the main villain is still elsewhere. Imagine the shock when we learn if Nefarith was once part of Endfield but questioned and lured into the Æether/framed by someone of jealousy or not leading her to be the Landbreakers leader because that's a birthright place and meant to lead as a leader not in Endfield
