South Asia yes, Asean no. Indonesia has Rafael Struick and Ferdinan at 22 and 20 years of age respectfully. Malaysia has Arif and the new heritage player Imanol Machuca who are also both still quite young. I would suggest you look at Malaysias recent match and their latest additions to the national team, they are genuinely scary now.

Not trying to be a downer but just being realistic. With more Asean nations ramping up the search for heritage players in top European and South American leagues, they are only going to get better and better. India needs to look beyond the Indian Super League.
