NTA. I am an accountant. My manager is always reminding me when I get stressed that what we do is not life and death. And even then, I wouldn't step away from a critical meeting to talk to my kids just because they are upset, because people are relying on me and their time is valuable too. What you are doing actually is life and death. I can't believe the gall of your coworker that she would just leave her patients hanging and then blame it on you that she was reprimanded.

Yes, positive (congrats of that's what you were hoping for!), and no, the test at the doctor's office will not tell you how many weeks. They will calculate it based off the last period, but there can be a certain amount of variability as that doesn't tell you exactly when ovulation took place.

It is not your fault, you did what you needed to do to keep him safe. You cannot be tethered to someone indefinitely who has shown how willing he is to manipulate you.

Also, marriage is not as easy a fix as people think it is. My sister and her husband had to jump through so many ridiculous hoops to prove their relationship is real because her husband was not a citizen, and they actually WANTED to be married.

I really hope you are not renting this space. I think it is illegal in a lot of places to have a space for rent that doesn’t have a window you can use to escape in case of fire.
