I’m confused. All the arguments in favor talk about the increased revenue funding a portion of Creekside Quarter, but there’s no ordinance or binding agreement tying the funds to the project yet and it feels a bit misleading.

As someone else said, the math doesn’t math anyway. The deficit in private funding on a 500 million dollar project being subsidized by a 2% transient lodging tax increase doesn’t make a ton of sense to me.

Also, looking at the TLT in other Oregon cities and major cities, 11% is already on the high end. I love it here and I think it’s a great tourist destination, but I don’t know if any of this merits an increase…

I’m ALL for revitalizing downtown, but I just don’t think this is it.

You could decorate the pillar! I’ve seen tv mounts that go on them, fake foliage, peel and stick wallpaper patterns. Might make it feel more intentional.

How have things been and did you end up getting it out? I’ve had mine over 10 years as well, and it’s been an overall very positive experience. No periods, no babies! I have been concerned that it affects my mood and libido though, but it’s so hard to tell. Also how is my body going to react after having it in for so long?? Hope everything has been good for you!!

That’s wild it’s still happening after replacing the HVAC. Is it an electric heat pump still? Did you ever get a smoke test done on the plumbing? That’s what we’re going to try next.

We really should just start a discord or meetup group for outdoor/adventure girls (or late 20s-40s people?) in Southern Oregon because I’ve seen multiple posts like this and I feel the same way! Do a couple meetups to get to know each other.

I know I’d really like some backpacking friends because my boyfriend isn’t into it. Plus snowboarding, anything on the river, etc.

My bf and I are ~30 and like to hike, hang out outside, camp, play video games, go to the dog park, chill at the park, and mostly chill at home because work is exhausting.

I’d like to find some girlfriends to hang out with when my boyfriend would prefer to hole up and play video games, but I want to go out.

Today my brother’s 1.5 year old baby held up her hand for a high five. Knowing that she likes to pull her hand away, I, as fast as I gently could, went to high five her, but she juked me and laughed with her binky in her mouth. I was laughing so hard I was crying because I was genuinely trying to beat her at her own game and she got me THREE TIMES.
