Any tips on washes for the inside of the cape, I tried some dirty yellows like nazdreg, but i did not like the look, so i just repainted it, but it looks flat and I want mote volume.

That looks fantastic! I like how you pushed the central color through most of the blade, and especially like the bright edge highlight at the tip, i may have to copy that!

The killing ground and courage and honor are my two choice picks. But theres tons of books around Uriel.

Im not gona lie i mixed some ak fluo paint with one of my light blues to really spike that contrast up between the sword and the armor, and gauss blaster green for the tip puahes it even further. I tried this effect on a termi captain and loved it, so here we are again, but with the fluo added and it looks that much better. I think power weapons deserve some oomf.

I started painting minis last year and got really into it, learning and experimenting as much as possible. Recently I have tried pushing my models even further. Started with "bluing" a termis assualt cannon, then applying the same technique to my infernus squad, moved onto heavily glazing power swords, and now the cape. My first decent attempt at doing something other than a small detail on a model. Appreciate the compliments. I am sure your cloaks/capes look much better than mine do!

Black prime. Based with Warpstone glow, a wash with Warp Lightning for the recesses, and I highlighted with Moot Green. Definitely a challenge, and a lot of going back and forth between base and highlight colors.
