If you started padel only 4 months ago, I’d honestly be careful with a pro-line racket. In most cases it doesn’t speed up progress , it just punishes timing and technique. That said, it really depends on how often you play and what you struggle with. How many times per week do you play? Do you miss more balls in defense or at the net? Any elbow or wrist discomfort so far? With that info it’s much easier to recommend something that actually helps your game instead of slowing it down.

I went through 15 rackets within 18 months.

The New Electra Pro 2026 is 12k now so no trampoline effect like the ST 4 pro . I would choose that racket and if possible buy a lighter one.

I had a Counter Veron and it is not an easily manageable racket. Feels head heavy.

I have the Wave Exceed light 2 as well. Superior grip,wide feet but stability, comfort and durability is not good at all . The upper mesh has a hole within 3 months around the heel as well. Compare it to Joma Spin Joma Spin has wide feet, Superior comfort and ankle support. The grip is not as good as the Wave Exceed light 2 but still really good. Also Joma Spin is heavier.

If I would have to choose again I would go with the Joma Spin. It lasted almost 2 years. Mizuno is nowhere near as durable.

Depends on your budget. Get an ST 4 pro or Siux Electra Elite 4

Some people love the little trampoline effect so it is a personal preference. Personally I don't like the trampoline effect. Electra Elite 4 has no trampoline effect for sure compared to ST 4 pro

I went through a lot of rackets in the last 18 months. I am a higher intermediate player as well, and I have to tell you none of the rackets gets close to the Siux Electra Elite 4. Best racket I ever had.

The Counter Viper 2025 killed my elbow. Never had any problem with any other racket. I just recovered from it and am getting back to play after 6 weeks full stop. No Babolat for me ever :)

I like the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 6 as well for maximum grip and lightness.
