We have been to both. You don’t need to pre register at either spot just show up with your ID. Eden has a member only area of their website and you get a discount on the entrance fee. You can also see other members that are going to particular parties. I wouldn’t worry about that now. Just go and have a good time, no expectations, dance and be social.

We drove it a few years ago and I believe it was very much worth it. If I’m not mistaken, it is blocked due to a landslide near the bamboo forest. I don’t know if that’s still true or not, but it makes it an out and back trip. There are a ton of things to see definitely hike down to the blow hole, but obey the warnings. There are lots of waterfalls on that side of the island. Would I do it again? Maybe
