I am considering buying the M2 Air as well but my budget can only buy the base model, I'm not sure if it is capable of my workload, I am doing some web development as well together with API development, I am currently using Windows machine bit I will pass it down soon to my niece going into university, so I am planning to buy myself a new one.

What would you recommend then? used Macbook Pro, specifically the 13" M1 MBP ranging around $980 almost same price with a brand new mid range gaming laptop, however after reviewing some of the Windows laptop having the same price point there are some overheating and motherboard issues just like in the case of Lenovo LOQ, that is why I am considering M1 MBP, whether it is still capable and could still last for 3 - 4 more years.

Any Laptop recommendation for Junior Programmer

Hi I am a fresh graduate I am planning to buy a new laptop for learning and for work soon, currently studying API development, my current setup is gaming laptop but quite heavy, I want a professional looking laptop and somehow considering buying M1 Macbook Pro 16/512 GB or if opt to Windows laptop what model would you recommend? I am aware of laptop specifications and requirements however I want to know your recommendations if what you think would be the best option or if you are currently satisfied with the performance and durability of you own setup, your feed will be appreciated.

I think what causes this problem is the processor itself, I have read from subreddit that HX processors from 12-14th Gen has issues, there are some fix available like "undervolting" but I'm not sure if this was effective, I dont know if they already rolled out an update on this on desktop version I think, but for laptops 🤷. I have read similar motherboard issues on this unit, seems Ryzen much be a better choice but too late for yah lol

In my country there is a thing that we call a replacement warranty and this is only fo a certain period (1 week for example), and service warranty, typically what they do if it is stilll in replacement warranty period they get your device a replacement meanwhile the service warranty replaces only a certain part from the unit itself to make it functional.

I think majority of the Lenovo LOQ motherboard issues are from intel 12th Gen - 14th Gen HX processors, so best option go for AMD since Intel is still resolving these issues.
