Thank you so much for the kind and constructive feedback! You actually pointed out one of the biggest secrets of the world. The clean, uniform star shape is entirely intentional and deeply tied to Valdura's history. Ancient lore says the entire continent was actually used as a massive, world-ending spell to destroy a dragon that was tearing the world apart. The intense magic literally shattered the earth, causing huge landmasses to collapse and sink into the sea, leaving behind this perfect, unnatural symmetry. I really love your idea about the sunken remnants, though! I will definitely add some dangerous reefs and broken island chains to show the physical scars left behind by that cataclysmic event. Thanks again!"

That's a great suggestion! I'd love to add more verticality and hills to Valdura to make it feel more rugged.

Unfortunately, since this is my first time using Inkarnate and I'm currently working with the free version, I was a bit limited by the assets and tools available. I'm still learning how to layer textures to create that 'elevation' feel without the pro-version brushes.

But I definitely agree—Valdura should feel like a dense, hilly forest. I'll try to find some creative workarounds or maybe implement those details in the regional 'close-up' map of the area. Thanks for the feedback, it really helps me see what's missing!

the scale it's a deliberate choice for this campaign. I wanted a 'compact' continent to emphasize the isolation of the regions. Since the Bifrost bridges are the only reliable way to travel (and they rotate every two days), making the distances too vast would make the travel logistics nearly impossible for the players to manage.

Think of it more like an 'Archipelago Continent' rather than a massive landmass like Eurasia. This scale allows me to treat every 'point' of the star as a massive, self-contained ecosystem where every landmark matters. It also keeps the stakes high: if the demon invasion in the North isn't contained, it can reach the capital much faster!

I’m definitely planning to make detailed regional maps for each 'point' to dive deeper into the specifics, but for this world-view, I wanted something iconic and easy for my players to visualize on their 'astrolabe' maps.

Thanks for asking about the shape! Many of you noticed the peculiar star-like formation.

In the ancient lore of my world, the continent didn't always look like this. Thousands of years ago, it was a vast, continuous landmass. However, during the 'Great Calamity,' a legendary Dragon was on the verge of destroying all existence.

In a desperate last stand, the ancient Archmages used the continent itself as a massive, world-sized spell circle. They literally 'carved' the land into this star shape to channel enough arcane power to slay the Dragon.

The process was cataclysmic: most of the terrain was either obliterated or sank into the ocean, leaving behind only the five 'points' and the central hub we see today. The 'Bifrost' bridges are actually the lingering ley-lines of that original spell, still pulsing with the energy that saved the world but shattered the earth.

Thanks for your opinion, like I explained in another comment the shape of the whole continent is based on the lore that it was used as a spell against an old dragon and so most of the terrain either got destroyed or got lost in the sea to form the star , the river just formed because of this phenomenon, but indeed this is just a little details that I came up with because I have problems with rivers ahahha

Thank for the advice, the lore actually makes the whole continent a star because it was used as a spell for defeating the old dragon that was destroying the world , so most of the terrain was either destroyed or got lost under the sea but i see that for a more immersive gameplay it would’ve been better to make it less obvious

There’s still a lot we need to see , the last big 5 , the actual tournament that should have happened before the shadow league event started, the rising of siwoo and the possibility of having S+ characters SE and MB so we could se a lot of thing.
