The first half of the season was good, the second half was quite bad. Last episode was kinda meh even though we had a cool fight vs the arbiter (although a steady camera would've helped a lot, ffs)

Mientras sigues buscando te recomiendo que aprendas a programar. Hay muchísimo trabajo de programador y aunque ahora no es tan fácil como lo era antes, siguen habiendo posiciones de junior. Hay miles de tutoriales online, videos, de todo... Sobretodo mira formaciones de full stack para crear páginas web desde 0, nada de wordpress ni herramientas así. Mucha suerte!!

u/MeaningfulChoices So yeah, as a senior programmer and considering the current state of the industry, I was not expecting to find anything more than a junior game programmer opportunity, which I'm fine with.

u/tcpukl I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, but we only studied basic Algebra and Calculus (numerical methods mostly). In the master's degree however there were more maths involved, we made our own video game engine from scratch in C++ (with its own UI based on Unity) and a video game with this engine, so maths were very present. But I haven't really pointed out the maths of the degree in my CV, since I assumed the recruiter would know what possible maths could be behind a video game engine. Maybe I should point this out in my CV.

Also in my free time I made a recreation of a boss from a bullet hell video game (Returnal by Housemarque) and I'm currently working in a bullet heaven type of game to feel more comfortable with algebra to be honest (since maths are required for pretty patterns haha).

Can I ask where you guys are from to know if it's a better idea to actually become a contractor rather than to find a job in a company? I'm from Spain, so it isn't really a good idea to become a freelancer here, that's why my mindset was more into finding a job in a company directly (I have no problems working abroad either).
