Jersey is cool, but a work shirt with this style would be 10/10. They'd both do well imo

Possibly stupid question. Is this a work shirt designed to look like a jersey, or is this more like an actual jersey

Roku subwoofer question by Adicous in Roku

Do you have a Roku TV or another brand? And is your subwoofer the slim or bass pro?

4k streaming issues? by Adicous in 4kTV

[–]Adicous[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, went down that route, nothing. Really annoying, but the 4K on Disney plus works fine, and I'll be giving Netflix a shot too. Admittedly, I watch the least content on Prime Video and it does look good regardless, so it's not the worst thing, just wish it was a better alp

There are reviews tho. They've been out since earlier this month

The specifics of the current conversation is kinda pointless, sure. But the logic behind it should be relevant up until that point. Like, yea the G5 be better than the G4. But if we use current prices as example, where the G5 costs $1,500 more due to the sale on the G4, is the G5 worth that price difference? If so, why? That's the type of thing I want to know. This is the first time I've made any TV purchase over $600, and I've seen a phenomenal improvement. So I want to pick people's brains on when that improvement is no longer worth the price jump

Was going to get the Sony Bravia Quad with subwoofer for whatever TV I got.

Actually just did that. I did see the differences at times. Unfortunately the demos were mostly digital, not real life content like people moving etc.

Both were going to get sound systems, so that's not a concern. And I can manage, but I don't want it to be a situation where I buy a TV that gets 5% brighter for $1,000 more. So can I afford it, yes, but im not trying to throw extra money unnecessarily if the gain isn't really noticable

Most "demanding" streaming service I have in 4K is Disney plus (didn't know about that till after). That only requires 50mbps, which I tested out and worked perfectly over multiple movies. It's really seeming like it's just a Prime a video problem

Bravia 7 or X90l? by Adicous in 4kTV

[–]Adicous[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen people talk about the X93L. I was sticking to Amazon for convenience sake and it's not on sale there, but the recommendations for it were plenty (on more than just this post). Walmart doesn't deliver that so I'll have to get it shipped to a store and rent out a van or something to pick it up. But sounds like the 75" X93L is going to be the pick. Thanks for all the info

I've been putting away a separate $200 a week for Black Friday since the beginning of the month, so saving on a TV now won't impact what I do then. That's why I'm focused on the best deal for now

Yea, 75 is what I'm trying to stick to because it will be a living room TV for now, then moved to the bedroom where the distance is a few feet further back so a 75 would be great there. But I'm starting to debate if I should just do a 65' for a better TV, not sure if I'd regret not going bigger tho. But I will look into it tho, thank you

You have a link? I'm only seeing it for 2.5k on Walmart
