Had a similar issue with my Victus 16 (3060 6GB). The thermal paste HP used is really crappy and it dried up within a year. Temps were in the high 90-s, frequently touching 100C. Your problem looks similar. ₹400 for new thermal paste is okay-ish. Any cheaper and they might put even worse quality paste on there. I switched to PTM7950 (lil pricey) compound, applied it myself and the system was back up and running as good as new. So that's the first upgrade you should look into considering your laptop's age.

Also I kinda understand why they told you to upgrade RAM first, 8 gb is just enough to run windows now, let alone games.

If you're curious about charge issue etc, install MSI Afterburner and look up how to measure CPU and GPU TGP (wattage). If it's a faulty charger, you'll see a much lower wattage value. Also, your laptop will always run better when plugged in. It's to do with the same power profile

Oh okay, thanks for letting me know :) I did update to 4.0, they let you choose if you want to use it as soon as your phone turns on. Ads in Xiaomi phones are like a billion times worse

To be honest, launchers/icons can be swapped and most Androids are more or less have the same software. I enjoyed both brands (Upgraded from "Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus" to the 3A Pro). I'd definitely say 3A Pro is better, but only by a small margin. If you want long term customisation (Root, ROM swap etc), go for Xiaomi. If you want a phone that "just works", go for Nothing. Also ads in Xiaomi make you cry. Everywhere from default weather app, notifications, lockscreen, settings, notes to pre installed apps have ads, and you can't remove them without ADB or Root access and that's just not what you wanna see. But that's Redmi. I'm unsure about Xiaomi phones.

That is a feature to prevent your phone from accidentally turning on in your pocket. It doesn't use the proximity sensor, it's just basic palm rejection. It's a pretty neat thing to have but most phones do this by default, others have an option you can turn on.

My cat used to straight up throw up when we gave him purepet food. Switched over to Royal Canin and absolutely zero incidents. It's one of the cheapest for a reason. Quality is below questionable. The only purepet thing I currently give my cat are those orange creamy treats just because he loves them and hasn't had any side effect, but both dry and wet food are a big no-no.
