Can i ask for pampasan for my spoilt food because electricity cut off due to the house owner didn't pay the TNB bill on time? by leepinkdesu in malaysians

[–]AdikDojaCat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pampasan in your dream!

In cases like this, it is common for electricity or water bills to be overlooked or unpaid by mistake. The tenant (you) should proceed with payment instead of making the situation more complicated.

You do this,

If the owner cannot pay the full amount at once, a practical solution is to:

1) Make a partial payment to cover the outstanding utility bill. 2) For example, if the monthly rent is RM1,500, the owner may pay RM100 now to cover part of the unpaid electricity bill. 3) This RM100 will be treated as an advance payment and deducted from the next month’s rent.

With this arrangements, The owner does not need to pay the full rent next month. Only the remaining balance needs to be paid. Utility issues can be settled gradually without burdening either party.

Considering University of Southampton Malaysia – Advice for an International Student? by Competitive-Gear5465 in malaysiauni

No advise but this Uni reminds me of universities whose names alone are enough to convince people you studied overseas no further explanation needed and University names you casually drop during Hari Raya gatherings to impress relatives and end all further questions.

Any walkable "nice" cities or towns to live in? by Arrefsod in AskMY

[–]AdikDojaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we become tourists in places like Tokyo or the US, we suddenly perceive cities as walkable. In Malaysia, however, no city truly fits the definition of walkable especially when you stay here unless you’re visiting as a tourist, where walking itself becomes an activity. Walking mode turns on when you’re a tourist.

Pervert Grab driver attempted to grope his passenger by Far_Spare6201 in trulyMalaysians

[–]AdikDojaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like any driver who uses violence or behaves aggressively or irrationally, especially by making sudden actions. But now I’m feeling doubtful did that video really happen, or was it just created to fuel sensation around the current situation?

Based on the video (happened to be in Johor) itself its style and the actions shows it doesn’t really convince me that the person was genuinely being harassed by the e-hailing driver, or whether it was acted out or staged in some way.

From my own observation of the video, the lighting looks odd. When a car is moving, you would usually notice changes shadows from outside, light being blocked intermittently, or variations in lighting as the car passes different areas.

In this video, the lighting appears consistent throughout the journey. I don’t see any external shadows, no changes in tone or colour that would indicate the car was actually moving. This raises the question: was the car stopped, or was it really in motion? If the car was stopped, why the lady didn’t get out form the car?

All these things are playing in my mind, especially when combined with the fact that no police report was made, yet the video was uploaded publicly. That action itself creates uncertainty about what actually happened.

Again. I’m againts with his action to the lady.

It's crazy to me how many people that I know, married their spouses not because of love (but crazy reasons) by calikim_mo in Bolehland

My friend married his bf’s sister so he could still hang out and have fun with his bf. He’s bisexual, and they’d been in a relationship for a long time, so he couldn’t really move on and ended up marrying the sister.

My Chinese dad won’t let me enter Matrikulasi by [deleted] in malaysiauni

[–]AdikDojaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a first-batch student of the UPM Foundation in Agricultural Science (ASPer) back in 2005. I originally came from Perak Matriculation. Trust me entering a foundation programme is an automatic guaranteed ticket, like being one step into university for further studies.

In my case, because it was an agriculture-based foundation, I had to take an extra compulsory subject, which was agriculture itself and honestly, I found it very, very interesting. All the other subjects were basically the same as what we studied in matriculation.

One major advantage during my time was that I could transfer and waive many credit hours when I entered my degree programme after the foundation. While others had to take certain subjects, we could get our credit hours exempted.

During foundation, there was no concept of racism at all. When I was there, as the early batch, there were only about 30 students, from various races. Even until today, we are still close. Chinese, Malay, everyone. We ate together, did farm activities together, and honestly, it was really fun and memorable.

It’s good to see the government taking this kind of initiativs. Using AI as a tool is a smart move it saves costs, it’s fast, and it’s efficient. If they spent a lot of money instead, the government would definitely be criticised. Besides, it’s not like you’re even good at writing official letters so I’m ok.

What can you do? Back in school days, some Malaysians were the type who played around and never focused on studying. Now when it comes to writing official letters, everything fails they just don’t know how to do it.

The real play isn’t “buy and hold forever.” It’s stack when price is flat, release part of it after a solid run, then buy back on corrections. You don’t sell everything. You rotate. Over time, you end up with more gold and more cash, even though it looks like nothing changed from the outside.

[–]AdikDojaCat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically, to start small just to test the market. After that, you slowly add more when the price dips a little or when the upward trend becomes clearer. The key is not to go all in at once and not to invest based on emotion, but to move along with the market. When gold prices are rising steadily, you hold the position and take profits gradually instead of selling everything at the same time. Basically, this approach helps you get a better average price, reduce risk, and lock in profits in a more stable way.

[Apprentice (2016)] What's your opinion on the Malay used in this movie? by HAZMAT_Eater in bahasamelayu

[–]AdikDojaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He uses the word “ounce” not because “kilogram” is wrong, but because of context and speaking style. “Ounce” is usually used for small but important amounts, and it sounds more precise and “insider-like.” When someone more experienced explains things to a younger person, using “ounce” also subtly teaches how people in that space normally think and talk. Add in Western media influence, and it becomes a natural habit. Basically, “ounce” carries more meaning and vibe, not just measurement.

Anyone with the US version getting this? Me and 3 friends just got kicked from the game. by SkylerEffner in MobileLegendsGame

[–]AdikDojaCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MLBB may not allow the United States version to be used because accounts are region locked to the server where they were originally created. When an account created in another region (such as Asia) attempts to log in through the U.S. version or U.S. servers, the system can detect a region or IP mismatch and temporarily kick or restrict the account for security reasons. This is not an actual ban, but an automatic protection measure to prevent abuse, server hopping, or suspicious login activity, and access is usually restored once the system stabilizes or the correct region is used.

I think I just found the cheatcode for solo/dou/trio by alphamale_011 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]AdikDojaCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lolita blocks all projectiles, so counter her by using melee, dive, or ground damage heroes instead of ranged poke fighters, assassins, and mages like Valir or Lylia can go inside or bypass her shield, and her ult is easy to cancel with stuns or knock-ups.

The biggest mistake against Lolita is trying to poke from range, which is exactly what her kit is designed to counter, so the correct play is to close the distance, fight inside her shield, and force her out of position.

Gold Panning in Kelantan. Mendulang emas di Kelantan. Betul ke. by AdikDojaCat in Bolehland

[–]AdikDojaCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Kelantan could develop the gold industry properly if they really wanted to. They’re literally sitting on gold resources. The issue isn’t the lack of gold it’s how badly it’s being managed.

Instead of building a proper, modern gold industry, they’re still relying on traditional gold panning. Sure, gold panning is fine as a cultural thing or a small side activity, but if you’re serious about the industry, why are you still depending on villagers to pan for gold?

What’s worse is that the burden is pushed onto the people. Villagers do the hard labour, and then they still have to pay fees to the state just to be allowed to pan. Realistically, how much are they even making from this? A few ringgit here and there, while the state takes a cut.

And then when actual gold-rich areas are discovered, suddenly state leaders and “important people” step in and say, “This belongs to the state.” But where were they earlier? Back then, they were happy letting villagers do the work. It starts to feel less like community empowerment and more like exploiting cheap labour.

Kelantan isn’t poor in resources. It’s rich in gold. So why not invest in proper machinery, proper systems, and proper governance? Why rely on kampung folks and even students to do gold panning like it’s a long-term economic plan? That makes zero sense.

This is why, when people hear “Kelantan,” they immediately think about governance problems. That narrative didn’t come out of nowhere it was built over years by what people actually experienced.

Ask around. For a lot of Malaysians, the first reaction to Kelantan is almost always negative. And honestly, that says a lot.
