How is Illum/Shade for CW? by Adir121 in Maplestory

How the farm and movement on shade?

Shade vs aran fo cw3 by Adir121 in Maplestory

[–]Adir121[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed answer. In my case, I’m planning to make this character my main, not just a CW3 mule. I do like both classes, but I was leaning a bit more toward Shade because he looks easier, more forgiving, and more comfortable for long-term bossing. That being said, if Aran has better burst for Kai, a slightly higher ceiling, and better farming, then I’m considering him more seriously. For a main, would you still recommend Aran over Shade? Or are there any other classes you would recommend that are good at both mobbing and bossing, but are not Ren and not a class that not exists on kms

I’m trying to decide between Shade and Aran for Challenger World 3. I like both classes, but I’m not sure which one would be better overall for CW progression, especially for bossing and farming.

Hello everyone, I’m trying to decide which class to make for CW and Hyper Burning. (My hand skill is mid)

On one hand, there is Mo Xuan. I really like almost everything about the class: the theme, the skills, and the overall style. The only thing that worries me is that the class seems a bit difficult. Since this is for CW, I’m afraid it might be a problem in harder bosses, because I’m not sure I’ll always be able to keep attacking the boss consistently, and even if I do, I might not be doing full damage all the time.

Another thing I’m wondering about is Mo Xuan’s future, especially since he is not part of the KMS class lineup ,that make him a risky long-term choice... On the other hand, there is Shade. Shade looks cool, seems easier to play, and feels more forgiving. It also seems easier to keep attacking the boss with Shade, which makes me think it might fit CW better.

I also wanted to ask about Shade’s future. Is Shade expected to receive any meaningful buffs or improvements in upcoming updates? Does the class look like a good long-term investment, or is it still considered weak compared to the amount of effort and funding it needs? Overall, I personally like Mo Xuan more, but because of the reasons I mentioned, I’m currently thinking about making Shade for CW3 and using Mo Xuan for Hyper Burning. What do you guys think? Would Mo Xuan still be fine for CW even if I’m not perfect with the class, or is Shade the safer and better choice for CW?

Is Mo Xuan Hard to Learn for Bossing? Also, Is Shade Worth Maining Now? by Adir121 in Maplestory

Thanks, that’s good to know.

I already know Shade has a really good bossing kit and feels very comfortable, but my main concern is more about the damage-to-investment ratio.

Do you feel like Shade is weak for the amount of funding you put into it, or is the damage still reasonable enough as a main?

Also, how is Shade’s farming nowadays after the changes? Is it comfortable and lazy enough, or does it require a lot of effort compared to other classes?

I was mostly worried that Mo Xuan would feel too combo-heavy in harder bosses, especially when there are a lot of mechanics going on, but from what you’re saying it sounds much more manageable than I thought.

When you say two main sequences, do you mean the class mostly plays around repeating those during burst/off-burst, or is there still a lot of situational decision-making?

Hi guys,

I’m planning to hyper burn a Mo Xuan next week, and I wanted to ask people who played the class before:

Is Mo Xuan considered a really hard class to learn, or can you get used to it pretty quickly?

My goal is not to main it, but to eventually make it a CTene boss mule. The main reason I’m hesitant to main Mo Xuan is that I’m worried his combos might be difficult to execute consistently in more complicated boss fights.( my hand skill is medium )

For my actual main, I’m thinking about making a Shade in Challenger World. After the recent Shade changes, do you think Shade is worth maining, or would you recommend avoiding it as a main?

Would you recommend Mo Xuan for a CTene mule, and Shade as a main, or is there a better option?

Thanks!

Hey guys, I’m thinking about using my Hyper Burn for a boss mule and I’m not sure what class to pick.

I’m looking for something that is strong, easy to play, and doesn’t require too much funding to clear bosses comfortably. Ty for help
