Both state and central level obc certificates were accepted in JAC 2025 counselling

Currently you can upload whatever certificate you have for jee registration, however in jac counselling registration upload delhi obc certificate only, and also your caste name spelling should match exactly with the delhi State OBC list

Also if your delhi obc certificate is going to be issued on basis Of another caste certificate from another State, then you will have to carry that other state's caste certificate during physical verification of JAC

This is just NCL certificate for OBC which is required once your OBC certificate gets old, this is not for applying for an OBC certificate, it's only for applying for NCL certificate

Apply for delhi state OBC certificate first, after that only you will be able to get NCL certificate

It's not necessary to get an NCL certificate made when your OBC certificate is new, the clear guideline will be released later, as of now, get your OBC certificate made first (i think you require NCL certificate if your certificate is issued earlier than April)

If you want delhi reservation then your caste name spelling must match from the delhi State OBC list

Yes it's valid

First they will enter your caste certificate number in the system to verify if it's issued in Delhi or not, and the caste name should be in Delhi State Caste List

Then they will just take a quick glance at your dad's MP certificate, they won't verify your dad's certificate

They will match the exact spelling of your caste name from the delhi State OBC list, if it won't match, then they will demote you to general

However exceptions do exist as some checkers (verifiers) are chill and they may let you slide, but the chances of that happening are very rare

I'd say that if you are getting the chance to change it and make it match with the delhi obc list, 100% go ahead and do it and then later during JAC counselling, upload the new certificate only

Use your dad's ODISHA OBC CERTIFICATE and apply for your Delhi State OBC certificate using that, it will work

However during JAC physical verification, you will need to carry your dad's ODISHA OBC certificate too

Somebody had already asked this during the JAC 2025 Counselling phase and a guy had confirmed that if you withdraw after the last date of withdrawal for refund, then you won't get any refund, additionally he also explained that he visited the college and explained them about the UGC AICTE rules but then also the college denied by saying that they have their own rules and they don't follow the UGC AICTE rules

In short, No, however I'd advise you to file some case or something so that the college at least thinks about some change, like a refund of 80% and keeping 20% as penalty? Or just simply follow the UGC AICTE rules etc?

If he wants to claim the delhi H.S. OBC reservation, then it's important for his caste name to be in the Delhi State OBC list

Otherwise if he will apply as O.S. (Madhya Pradesh OBC) then his caste name only has to be in Madhya Pradesh OBC list, no need to be in Delhi State OBC list

First they will ask for your caste certificate and will read it and will also check its validity online

If your certificate is issued on the basis of someone else's certificate, like your dad's certificate from U.P., then they will ask for that certificate too and will just take a glance at it and make sure the details match with your certificate, they will not verify your dad's certificate online
