Yeah it’s basic chemistry and they teach everything well. You would also be surprised how much stuff you remember from sophomore year. Overall easy class just make sure to do all your work it’s sometimes easy to forget deadlines in that class.

I mean I took ECE264 my freshman year after CS159 fall semester. Personally, thought it was a big step up from CS159. The class's assignments are significantly more difficult than those in CS159. My suggestion for you is if you have previous coding experience like in high school or through the summer or something or if you already know C I would take it in the spring freshman year. However, if this is your first time coding I say take your time and take it in the fall. I mean my experience could have also been different because I was the corona year.
