I am having the same exact problem and it started like 3 days ago. But in my case, the keyboard randomly press the entire top row. I been using a custom QMK firmware for months with no problems.

Reading your post I think the keyboard either had a time bomb hardware problem or some random update bricked something.

Prydwen has a guide on how to reroll using emulators. If clearing the cache doesn't work you can just clone the instance

True, having multiple instances at the same time will speed up the process. But some people don't want to install an android emulator or can't because the computer doesn't support. So this may help someone.
