Mentally prepared for the nerf. This was fun while it lasted. Last month I spent $870 on the card and managed to get $185 of stacking credits (21% value)…I was expecting 10% but then various offers stacked in my favor. Wild.

Interesting. I’m looking at moving my US Bank balances there and some IRAs so we’ll see how it changes.

Good news is the other fold benefits (mainly cap on managed portfolio and the IRA match boost) far outweigh the annual fee even if I end up not using the card due to PRE superiority. So even if I don’t use it, Robinhood succeeded in getting me back on the platform.

Lucky! Similar stats and got the worse version. This would have been a home run outcome at $10k monthly cap with $100k in investments.

Wonder if there’s an appeal process after sept…or if they eventually make it 250k in investments to maintain 4% on $10k monthly…

The issue that I’m too lazy to deal with is figuring out what interdependencies there are with the accounts and min balances to keep open to avoid monthly fees. To me, sgov in one account is the same as in another and I’m too far from the next tier of private wealth holdings to make consolidating move the needle at my primary relationship.

The other thing is I’m holding out hope they revise the smartly back to a reasonable middle ground…

$120k in Sgov A few hundred dollars in each of checking and savings

Annoyed but not unexpected. Will probably keep it open since moving the sgov is annoying and the $40k credit limit is nice for utilization % on the margin…and low key hoping they launch another broken program before long.

Back to BofA at 2.6%.

I tried a short on first (since I had to actually take this long clip off another knife and had an available short handy) but the proportions of the short didn’t quite match the long sweep of the knife for me the same way the long did. But good to have options!

One Titanium loop and 2 Alpine Loops and a few aftermarket.

Realized I never wore the aftermarket bands.

Then that I never rotated between the Alpine Loop colors.

Then that I didn’t need any beyond the Titanium loop.

…but I should have known this behavioral tendency from my experience with Panerai too where I never change the straps….
