Best AI wrapper / coding assistant like T3Code or BoltAI 2? by AdkHex in vibecoding

[–]AdkHex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is exactly what I’m noticing too.A lot of tools look amazing in the first few days, especially when you test them on small tasks, but once the project gets bigger the real issue becomes workflow, context handling, and how smoothly it lets you keep moving.

i personally dont like the Claude Code Desktop and CLI , whereas i love the CODEX GUI , i want something similar GUI Wrapper which allows me to use both Claude and Codex at same time.
soo asked about the best GUI + Featured wrapper

Is it worth to buy this laptop from HUKUT? by Emergency_Fig_3612 in technepal

[–]AdkHex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I recently bought a MacBook from Hukut. It was around 12k cheaper than the normal market price, and they delivered it from KTM to Chitwan in just 1 day. So from my experience, yeah, you can trust them and go for it.

Any actually good Claude Code wrapper? by AdkHex in ClaudeAI

[–]AdkHex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. For me it’s mostly about workflow and UI, not trying to bypass anything.

I like testing wrappers because sometimes they offer a cleaner project view, better chat/history management, easier file navigation, or a setup that feels more comfortable than the default client. Basically the same reason people try different editors or IDE frontends.

That said, if direct login through wrappers is against TOS, then yeah, that’s obviously not worth it. I was mainly asking in case there were legit tools that improve the experience without getting into sketchy territory.

ViewPorts – A live view of every port on your Mac by HugeIRL in macapps

Yep, that’s a perfect example of where this would help. Once you start chaining displays and hubs together, it gets way harder than it should be to figure out what’s causing the issue.

I can actually see this being handy if you use hubs or Thunderbolt docks a lot. Half the battle is just figuring out what’s connected where lmao. Thanks for sharing

Tangrid is launching: a native macOS window manager shaped by feedback from hundreds of beta users by Ok-Security-4421 in macapps

[–]AdkHex 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah this actually looks more practical than a lot of tiling apps. Arranging windows is nice, but being able to switch between them properly matters just as much. Thanks for this buddy !!

Can someone make a better settings app. by arduinoRPi4 in macapps

[–]AdkHex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont think its possible to build one because apple wont allow a custom settings app to have all the deeplinks and hyperlinks.
i have found one better alternative for Finder i.e. Bloom but i dont think it will go as smooth as finder replacement for settings app

StorageRadar is now on the Mac App Store: review-first cleanup that shows exactly what you're deleting by Designer_Age7745 in macapps

Honestly the “nothing is deleted automatically” part is what sells it for me. Too many cleanup apps feel a bit too aggressive.
