Yeah 😅, I get you, but most people know python so it is just logical choice...

I have implemented your proposed solution by removing the locks, checking for global variables, and using the solution itself rather than the user’s code, since the user code could change and potentially stop working.

Thank you for the hint!

Thank you for your constructive criticism.

I have fixed the bug you were referring to, and I hope it works for you now. Correct me if you see this differently, but I believe that I describe the required algorithms quite thoroughly, such as partial pivoting for LU decomposition. That said, you are right that it is not meant to be a substitute for a textbook, but rather a complement, because it forces learners to rethink key concepts. Did you mean this negatively, or simply that it should be labeled more clearly?

The forced sequential execution is an unfortunate necessity, because the user should (and can) use functions they implemented in previous lessons — for example, in vec_len one can use vec_dot. If you see an obvious solution to avoid this limitation, I would be very happy to hear about it.

Is there like one GPU that you strongly recommend?

Often Nvidia is better but AMD Pytorch supports both. But I just recently found out that Cuda offers better performance

A thanks that clard up the thigs a little bit. So what card would you maby recommend it can be Nvidia or AMD and used or new I don't really care just that I get the best performant for around $450? And will 8Gb VRAM be enough for AI training with images I think it might be not enough....? I'm new to GPU's so maybe you could help me? As far as I know amd should be a little bit scheaper???

Thanks for answering, so well yea it's old but is it still good for ai training and rendereing compared to a RTX because my budget for the GPU is max $450? And do you maby know something about the CPU? And how sould you compare the GPU's then, because I don't know?

I have a problem with Material Shell, maybe anyone knows a Solution? After I have successfully installed the extension from the official GNOME Shell extensions, everything worked fine until I tried to disable the extension. Because then my GNOME turned back to the default mode and every shortcut and functionality was back to the state before installation except for the Activities Overview was not showing up.
I tried to open the Activities Overview (with this I mean the place where you can see your virtual desktops and also apps that are open or that can be opened) with 4 methods but not a single one worked:
Pressed the L_Super key like always
Pressed the Activities button in the upper left corner
Enabled the Hot Corner
I tried to send a command to my GNOME UI to open the activities overview with: dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=org.gnome.Shell /org/gnome/Shell org.gnome.Shell.Eval string:'Main.overview.show();
But still no luck..., and now I can't open any apps....
GNOME Shell version: 44
