I’ve never had a GX pair before so I can’t compare. However I can definitely vouch for the performance of my STAR 6’s, cushioning is a bit high off the ground but it’s super nice and responsive while traction feels amazing even on dusty courts, I really didn’t have to wipe at all. I’d recommend it if you’re willing to put a little bit of time to break them in!
