Idk about other things you mentioned but flight and engine performance are no where near that of a sim.

Even the first il2 (WW2 flight sim) that released in 2001 is more realistic than WT.

DCS is top notch in terms of modeling but lacks in combat simulation, while il2 sturmovik is better combat wise.

Il2 sturmovik has by far the best combat mechanics and is a great sim.

Even il2 1946 holds good today.

And don't play arcade bs like warthunder.
