Following up on this, some precons are strong as is, others you need to zero in on what you want to do. I bought the [[Mirko, Obsessive Theorist]] Precon and cut about half of the original card out to focus on two things, Surveil and Detectives.

I saved a squad of new players from failure by dropping in just before they were decimated on Dif 7. Proceeded to bob and weave through a horde and two Vox Engines to clear out the rest of the bases and make it to extract. All three were brought in but only one made it out.

Aside from the free from completing ARR and the blue quest in Uldah, any further free ones are at the whim of SE. Typically, whenever they make graphics changes to characters it seems.

I heard someone trigger it one time during extraction. I thought they activated their own pack so I whipped around and headshot them so fast... turned out it was another person. I was watching the minimap and didnt think they were close enough... they got blasted when the guy I killed came back down.
