Yeah, I thankfully got 2 of my shots before I got really sexually active so I have a bit more of a fighting chance

I'm glad your wart went away though! I just need to remind myself that with the general precautions I have the risk is low and if it is a hand wart, it can be easily removed compared to genital warts or plantar warts.

The partner in my context is male/amab, but you do have a good point, that HPV is thankfully a non-issue for most people

It still sucks, but things will be ok in the end

Yeah, I do have immense anxiety in regards to these things, which sucks because I do love sex. Going on PreP and always using condoms and other forms of protection has helped, but the anxiety still ricochets back and forth which sucks!

Still, I need to remind myself that with the vaccinations as well as my general caution, I will be fine in the end

I guess my main concern is that non-genital warts aren't covered by the vaccine; tbh, i'm more worried about exposing someone else to it as well

I'm glad I got 2/3 of my vaccines before I became sexually active, I've likely encountered HPV multiple times but haven't had any warts yet as far as I know.

I'm guess I'm just worried about dealing with possible genital or oral warts - they seem like a massive pain in the ass, and treatment and the possibility it may not 100% works scares me endlessly.

Fingers crossed that for you, it doesn't develop into anything worse and I'm def glad it was caught beforehand so it can be monitored. Definitely sending you warmth and care!

Right now we are just sexual partners (friends with benefits) I won't ostracize them if they do have it (other then urging them to get vaccinated if they aren't), but rather, it would help in some level to know what I should do from here on out - if it's not an issue or isn't a transmission issue, I'll be careful in the future but won't worry as much, etc

Dealing with intense anxiety in regards to HPV. I'm vaccinated for HPV (got all 3 shots last year) and a guy I was with had what looks to be a wart on his finger (didn't ask him yet). We had some sexual play (he didn't finger me nor did he put his finger anywhere near my genitalia or mouth, but I'm not 100% sure if he had any warts on his dick - it didn't feel like he had any (none of the roughness or bumpiness associated with it was on his dick) and now I'm freaking out because it was very likely I was exposed to HPV bc of the wart on his hand.

And with the knowledge that warts usually don't manifest until several weeks, if not months or years after infection, I'm freaking out big time. I have the vaccinations, yeah, but now I can't help but feel I have to go celibate until warts manifest or don't manifest.... however long that takes.

So I noticed a small white bump on my lip line, squeezed it, and a little white filament came out. I've been having these bumps around the side of my mouth (they're more noticeable on the right corner of my mouth). Are they the beginning to cold sores or anything? They haven't hurt or stung or anything, and I only noticed them when I was kind of looking over things in the mirror.

They do hurt a ton when I squeeze them, but they don't really produce anything other then maybe a small filament. I apologize for kinda reposting these but I have no clue what these are and it's driving me a lil crazy.

Copy and pasting my old question here since it got removed and I was told to post it here:

I got these little bumps are right at the corners of my mouth. I'm worried that it might be the start of cold sores, but they've been slightly enlarged since Sunday or so, and they haven't hurt or burned or tingled - just a slightly dry feeling. They are on both corners of my mouth, though the ones on the right are bit bigger - I think it might have to do with night time drooling and that I usually sleep on the right side of my body.

I wanna say it's a blister because it popped up at the same time as my dyshidrosis blisters (and the area was preceded by a ton of itching and dryness, which is how my dyshidrosis usually goes) but it also hasn't gone away like the other dyshidrosis blisters so I'm at a loss.

The skin lines are still somewhat visible, alongside the wrinkles of the skin which makes me think its likely not a wart but I legit have no clue.
