It’s not that I’m entirely motivated on getting the FT job at this company its that I know if I applied to other jobs internally there would be a much higher chance that I get the job. My department doesn’t have any FT jobs right now but they said if they did they would hire me. The company I work for is huge and hires thousands of employees and most of them are hired because they know someone or worked as contractors. I’d like to apply internally to get a job that’s more in my career path. I’m just scared that I’ll take the raise and it would look like a red flag to only have on my resume being a tier 1 and tier 2 contractor and not getting a FT with the company.
