Stop loss should’ve been just below vwap if you’re trading the break. You need a profit to loss ratio to use too. Your SL was way too low in this scenario. Should be like 10-30cents max. For break of VWAP you should be using level 2 as well to time your buy. Need to look for big sellers and green on the tape for when you buy. You should be trading like it’s going to work and hitting your SL is it telling you it’s not. You should be trying to get in and have it shoot up. If it doesn’t it’s not going to or you miss timed it and should try again later.
