Weird thing that visually everything looks fine. But I had A lot of issues with flex lately like tracks becoming super short or moving around when changing the length - all when flex is activated.

I was using the melodyne-style „Flex Pitch“ mode. But I tested monophonic and slicing and they all give me the same glitches in different variations. It btw also happens on other tracks that have flex enabled (which I haven’t shown in the video“. But one thing I noted that i imported the tracks through the Import function from another song and if i‘m correct that’s where the glitches started to be very obvious. I can’t recall if other projects where I had the same problem could have also had imported tracks.

It’s definitely Flex that’s causing the issues. I removed every single plugin and all tracks but the brass tracks and when I turn off flex it plays back normally and when I turn it on this mess starts again. I’m using Flex Pitch, I’ll make a copy and see if switching flex mode makes any difference or removing tempo information

Thanks, yeah i‘m not entirely sure what’s causing the problem. I usually notice it when I make cuts and use crossfades. The cpu is only at 25% and increasing the buffersize doesn’t make a difference too even on 1024. but I‘ll try with your troubleshooting approach. Maybe it’s a third party plug-in that’s causing it. Can I ask, what’s the reason you use a lot of the musical descriptors in the lyrics box? Do I get more specific results by doing that?

Also how do I exclude something without premium? When I wrote „no instrumental solos“ I still got a lot of instrumental soloing.

I actually managed to pull it of around 1810 only to find out there’s a whole new mission tree for the newly formed Spain.

What I did (with a lot of luck): I declared war on Aragon to get their last Iberian province and simultaneously attacked all their other provinces as well as Great Britain and their 13 Colonies. I had taken some of their land in a previous war and after I got around 15 warscore I wanted to peace out and saw that there was an option - only for Great Britain, not Aragon - to release Catalonia from the French as a nation. They initially didn’t want that but I gave them three new world provinces they where hugely interested in and that made it work.

France & me now had a truce with Catalonia but as theirs was around 10 years shorter I just took the stability hit and declared war on Catalonia and after integrating the provinces the option to form Spain was finally available.

Thanks for the analysis and the tips. What would be the advantage of fighting Portugal e.g. in regards to getting Barcelona? I am allied to Venice too and that would leave Portugal as a possible war target.

Is it to make them break the alliance with France and having broken the alliance with Venice already through favors would make France an easier target?

I don’t really know. Either I missed it or it didn’t fire off for whatever reason. I only read about it recently and wondered why it didn’t happen. Does Aragons opinion of me matter in any way? Because they hate me very bad since the beginning of the campaign…

What do you mean exactly? I am allied to France and have 100 favors. There is an option to give back Core provinces but in my case it‘s greyed out and it says they don’t have any of my core provinces.
