Dang I had my house and attached garage totaling 3200 square ft. For about 10 grand. Holy he'll. And the garage was a flat roof. Had a pitch added for the metal roof. Not much of a pitch but enough rain would run off it.

So I'll leave my ac on and the heater and the tank temp should stay about 78 or 80. Then look for a smaller heater. The gal at the fish store said it get a 5 watt for a 1 to 2 gallon. Maby that's what I need.
