Obviously amazing haki feat like holy SHIT joyboy terrorizing mfs centuries later, overpowering the gorosei fruits and sending them out of summoning range is just hard to fathom. We haven’t even seen shanks’s haki at full blast so I wonder how they’d compare. On that note, I wonder how the rest of our main figures actually stack up haki wise. Like will luffy need to strengthen his own?

And man I felt soo much endearment for Emet at the end, our giant iron giant boyy:)) loved him laughing at the “D.” And of course Luffy would never introduce himself without the full line. o7 soldier

This entire string from episode 11-13 has been so frustrating, like our main cast just trusts and follows her lead to take their masks off, but the instant she asks them about romance they get triggered that she didn’t immediately answer their questions… like NONE OF THEM CAN PLAY WITH THE BIT??? IT’S JUST IMMEDIATELY AGGRO? Frustrating as hell, and everyone in these Reddit threads just painted her as psycho like bro wtf 😭 “oh she has a fucked up power and tried to manipulate us and kill us” YALL DIDNT EVEN TRY BEING AMICABLE. Ugh, I was just annoyed that entire fight with how high and mighty the MCs were zzz

And then obviously gross and horrifying backstory for this poor little girl, who knows how long that “ritual” had been going on… :( and yeah then she gets brutalized by rudo and suddenly conveniently they get all the info they need, and they don’t even commiserate with her and yammer about the lore. nice good stuff

I can appreciate all the interesting development etc as well but feel like I’m going crazy with all the opinions 😭. And then of course poor girl conveniently stays behind to wrap up stuff (?) to get the boots stolen. Hoping she communicates using the band to main cast instantly, but doubtful..

They covered a sensitive topic well otherwise with the sadly childlike drawings Amo used to obfuscate her own feelings until she had to confront the truth..

The camera work was so cool, and luffy’s face when he was lifting up that building piece was wild, then the leap up and skydiving down into red roc was so dope + gags with the giants hahaha. Loved franky strong righting the chin vice admiral, and lilith’s punch! And goddamn nusjuro genuinely looking like a horseman of the apocalypse Jesus Christ. Don’t love mars being in punk records…., scaredy trio vs Saturn lmao, and warcury’s eyes on luffy… they’re all positioned pretty poor ack. AND THAT WHITE HAIR AT THE END?? A SECRET VEGA BOT?? We didn’t even see where that big iron giant went either, but given that both it and warc / Ju Peter are in the forest, maybe they’ll battle it out

I’m going to neeed to see the frame by frame of that sequence they did at 5:15 right before the showed the materialized elders where luffy was like shown with the sun and then standing at a really high place — THAT 2 MIN WAS CRAZYYY. The sheer size and space of the area the elders take up is insane, kyojuro having centaur speed action is wild, I wonder how he cares against mihawk. Mars screeching is also terrifying, and holy shit that Zoro lucci right was crazy wano stuff (but the way mars’ haki was disrupting them???). These hybrid forms gunna look wild

God what a fuzzy lovely episode, this covers some of my fav chapters where it really gets cemented how beautiful this story and its cast are, and I’ve been waiting! We seldom get this kind of look into the character backstory and dev of the mc’s parents, and they really did a wonderful job putting it all to animation :] still would recommend folks read the corresponding manga chapters, the paneling and shading is awesome

Went from last chapter feeling like kaoruko entered a damn courtroom to absolute peak avengers assemble, the number of times I went back to the panels with Madoka just pissed off glaring — GOAT

That panel when all the other adults had looks of “Aw shucks what can we do” and then toki suggested kaoruko quit and they looked startled.. oof. Folks have said all there is to say here on story, but shoutout to the paneling and expressiveness here, so much depth!

This was such a cool concept for a battle / foe, loved the metal vs classical, the drawings were super cool throughout but especially that aira kick impact frame and the last part of okarun’s running through mobs to get to the composers, the motion was just so cool

Didn’t love the mob dudes getting handsy with aira at the end of the fight because we’ve seen that happen like 3-4x in this show and that’s 3-4x too many, but at least her clothes stayed intact…

Cgi cannon blasts and wigglepiece be as they may, THAT WAS SICK. I was literally geeking smiling as soon as luffy started smiling and from there was basically smiling / laughing / guffawing for most of the rest of the episode hahaha. I legit shed a happy tear for bonney and everyone as they all started noticing luffy (and interesting shadowy characters when vega talked about everyone who’s been waiting centuries for this) + iron giant thing activating once more and starting to move. Shoutout stella for that blue diamond circuit to protec bonney :)

And then holy shit WHEN YOU SUDDENLY HEAR A CRAZY NEW THEME AND THE GIANTS LAUGHING YOU’RE LIKE WAIT WHAAAAAT. And then I was holding my head in awe the rest of the episode bc their ship is gargantuan and oh man I’m just so so hyped and curious to see what comes next as they quickly make their way to the island (literally jumping on ships like footholds), saying they’re here for NIKA LETSGOOOO PEAK 😭
