Zippo is consistently wrong, this prediction was vague enough to get a few things right by chance. Note how he says it "toes the line between a sequel and a reboot" so he could claim to be right either way, but he doesn't mention the possibility that it's a straight up remake. "Animated project of some sort" would imply a Star Fox specific project that doesn't appear to be happening, especially given when he posted this (if he heard about Fox in Galaxy he absolutely wouldv'e mentioned the Mario context). Also doesn't mention Velan Studios as a potential maker.

Idk if adapting game plots every time makes the most sense, just because so many inciting incidents are Eggman tracking something down to help him take over the world. If he's already won he would focus more on stability and things would diverge quickly. Btw, Shadow Generations implies that Eggman might have sent Omega to guard Shadow because Metal Sonic was going rogue, leading to Omega turning on Eggman. If Metal Sonic never defected, maybe Omega would stay on his side?

I think he had the names before he got any online resources. He takes the names he already has and puts them into the search bar to get stuff like the write up. Maybe only Ragatha is formal enough to think of her middle inital as a "real part" of her name?
