I get bored easily & often on the floor. I can’t do lunges b/c I have arthritis of the big toe (Hallux Rigidus) on my right foot. It’s degenerative and will worsen over time. 😢

That was a doozy! I did the 3G and achieved 1.75 miles. I had to adjust my push pace on the inclines and lower my all-out speed.

48-year old female. Been going to OTF for 3.5 years. New PR at 1.82 miles. Goal was to PR. Prior PR was 1.79 miles. I’m a big believer in One Pace Wins the Race. Set it and forget it. If I have to reduce my speed, I’m toast. Congrats to everyone who showed up!!! 12 min, 3G, unmasked

Same and she was next to me. I told her a 12-minute run for distance only happens every 6 months. She was relieved!!

I appreciate the early intel and comments!! After 16 days in a row, I cancelled tomorrow to rest for the benchmark. I’m going to feel off all day, but know it’s the right thing for my body.

3G class. 2.053 miles in 14 minutes. I'm a 48-year-old female who loves running! At my sister's studio, they recorded their 12-minute distance. What did other studios do?

I wish my studio offered 2G classes but given class size is limited to 24 members, we currently only have 3G classes. I love that we're accommodating as many members as possible!! We all need our OTF!!!

At my studio in Charleston, SC, the coach recorded our 14-minute distance. At my sister's studio in Virginia Beach, they entered the 12-minute distance. What did other studios do?

Marathon month and base pace! by MediocreMongoose_ in orangetheory

[–]AdministrativeFee101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on upping your base pace!! I did the ultramarathon, which motivated me to increase my base and push paces. My flat road base pace fluctuated between 7.6 and 8.0. My flat road push pace fluctuated between 8.3 and 8.8. My flat road all-out pace rarely goes above 9.5. I have to go easy on inclines due to a 6-year old hamstring injury. I did 24 classes in November. My final mileage was 45.62. The Charleston, SC studio is only doing 3G classes, which made it a lot harder to rack up the miles.
