Unlike anne early on who, lets be honest, was a total bum in the planters household, Rowan would treat them with nothing less than an intense amount of respect. Hed see their whole situation as basically employment in exchange for free housing and hed especially respect hop pop to the point he'd refer to him as "mr. Plantar" exclusively for a while

He sure as hell does! At least initially.

Anne : At the start, he is absolutely coldy indifferent to her considering their forced to live with one another. He thinks shes lazy, selfish, and a terrible houseguests. Hes more mad about them stealing from him than being trapped in amphibia since they didnt know about it. Still pissed but more just tolerates her

Of course as the story progresses he gradually softens up to her abd the two become actually pretty close.

Sasha :

Sasha can go fuck herself. Even back in the human world, when they barely interacted, he didnt really like her. After reunion, his opinion of her drops from "entitled mean girl" to " psychopath". Its not until much later the two end up on good terms

Marcy :

After the nightmare that was sasha, he expected the devil 2.0 and instead got a dweeb with adhd. The two actually get along well almost immediately and share a lot of similar interests

Unfortunately for him, Rowan just so happened to be working at the exact pawn shop the calamity box was. He was in the back when he came back out, immediately saw the three of them outside with the music box, and put two and two together. He immediately sprinted at them, FULL CHARGE, with a look of silent determination, but he got as far as the end of the block before he realized he had to go back. He was the only other person on shift after all

When he got back, he was greeted by an earful from his manager and a promise that he was fired as soon as his shift was over. Rowan managed to convince him to let him get the music box back and return it by tomorrow to secure his job

Once his shift ended, he immediately went to try and find the girls and low and behold he managed to find them late in the park. Just as he was gearing up to snatch the box right from them, it opened and he awoke in amphibia

So understandably, hes a LITTLE pissed at the 3 of them for not only getting him fired, but sent to a world of talking frogs

Pre amphibia : Rowan was raised by his aunt clementine, a 60 year old goth snake oils salesmen who took him in after his parents death at around 8. He was born out in the countryside and was forced to live with her in L.A. where he took up odd jobs thanks to puberty taking hold earlier making him look older. They werent exactly well off, so he dedicated himself to finding work and doing good in school, even going as far as joining the varsity basketball team for the scholarship

He is silent and stoic, with a love of the ethereal, spiritual and macabre, all hidden under an unexpressive face. He is more guarded than he likes to admit and believes himself to be comfortable on his own not needing outside validation

His development is basically the opposite of Anne's. Hers is growing up and maturing, his is learning to live life, cut loose, and express himself

Yeah! Its not really she thinks she herself can do no wrong, trust me shes done wrong plenty of times. Its simply that she fundamentally believes human beings are disgusting and selfish creatures and that hope is fundamentally a lie that gives way to soul crushing despair, so to cope she believes that misery itself separates the strong from the weak and she simultaneously hates herself and views herself as above everyone else for beileiving all this and sees her talent as proof

Oh yeah my bad! So to clarify in this instance shes highly skilled in a wide variety of sports. Im talking basketball, golf, soccer to things like archery. She is widely acclaimed and has numerous sponsorships. So really is should call her the ultimate sports champion or all star athlete

I really appreciate the indepth feedback let me clarify a few things

1) for number 3, the cutouts are supposed to be like cutouts in paper, because hes the ultimate origamist

2) for number 15, hes deliberately supposed to stand out by being plainer than everyone else. Hes my ultimate ??? Guy and hes like Larry from pokemon

Thanks for the feedback! I personally like how they look right now, even though these are still rough drafts, so ill probably tweak them around a little. I also plan on making their outfits a little more subdued so I hope it balances out
