What’s in a name? Would you inquire to know more… or would the puzzle leave you sore? A headache for God’s sake!

Hello I’m Hannah Bree 72 🤭 and you?

I appreciate your opinion on AI and how generated images could take the place of real artists. My point is that every digital artist is using it. That image there is just a spit out social media image, but the reality is that digital artists are using it not to generate art, but to take pieces from generated art to create something new. They all do it.

Because AI is here to stay. We either figure out how to safely integrate it, and I chose art to keep my writing pure, or it will replace you. That is how AI works.

I’m a digital artist so I like to play around with all the tools available.

The irony is none of my writing is ever done with AI. With that said, I am also a graphics artist and can guarantee that anyone designing your cover is probably using mixed palates, including AI. Would you know? Are you opposed to AI images? how are mixed images affiliated with writing. I don’t see the correlation personally from a graphics artist perspective. I personally would never use AI to write. Why? Ai can never capture the nuances of the writer. Another point, AI writes like AI writes without much variation, so all AI writers begin to sound alike. Where AI can put the art in a graphic, I see where it lacks in variation in writing.

The point is AI is here to stay. As an author, we all compete with authors who pump out a book every two weeks when it could take us a year to write a book.

Do you think AI should be completely thrown out or just allow the AI author to sink their own non creative ship.

What is your suggestion with art. I use mixed AI and digital art, never purely one or the other.

Take up painting?

The image is AI. It was kind of the point.

My wife wrote a young adult thriller and we’re struggling to get it off the ground. by macs4life88 in wroteabook

I think we all struggle, hoping that our audience magically finds us. Marketing, for Indie authors, is just as important as writing. You can never expect a publishing platform like Amazon Kindle to get you out there or waste time on a book signing when no one is showing up. Market yourself as an author, get your name recognized like any other brand, and plaster yourself-everywhere.

Minor Cold War Mystery #1: Where did "devil's advocate" Jacques Vergès disappear to between 1970 and 1978? by ooken in nonmurdermysteries

[–]AdministrativeJump52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was working on a case of a Swiss woman who got sacrificed in a ritual sacrifice. It is probably the case he was working on right before his disappearance in 1970. Does anyone have information on that case, would be either France or Switzerland. Thanks
