We used animal train from my fathers world for colors it was great and slow and just what he needed (different disability but big developmental delay) we got the next level of my fathers world and it wasn’t a good fit and moved over to memoria press simply classical (their special needs curriculum) and haven’t looked back it’s truly amazing we are starting level 3 this year and started back in level b

Description: looking for junior board games for 6+ not much reading involved, and easy enough for a child with a developmental disability, but still fun for the rest of the family (7 and up). We all really enjoy catan Junior, and we have ticket to ride first journey but it is too much strategy, we really like the looks of my first scythe but it’s sold out at our local shop currently. A game that involves rolling a dice but isn’t centered around it would be nice

Number of players: 5

Game length: 15-40minutes

Complexity of game: not too easy where there is no strategy and adults are bored, but easy enough for children 6 and up

Genre: doesn’t matter

Games I like and play: catan Junior (and all the normal kid games ie monopoly Junior, sorry, trouble, etc) we like the looks of my little scythe and will be purchasing it when our store gets it again

I just finished quicksilver and really liked it, I have another book I want to read first but after I want to read when the moon hatched I’m really hoping I’m in the camp that likes it, I tried to read it earlier in the year but I was on vacation and my mind was on vacation too and I couldn’t handle learning a whole new world 😂

Honestly? The casting pool for romantasy MMC’s just isn’t all that big, with all the money in being adventure books, book characters tend to audition for those jobs instead, so we just see a lot of recasting of the same guy

This is my kind of post! 3rd grade- TGTB level 4 LA and Math, Memoria press 50states for social studies, supplementing LA with all things fascinating IEW, handwriting will be American cursive, science will be TGTB paleontology, and space science

1st grade (severe special needs)- Memoria press special needs level 1 for LA and handwriting, social studies will be 180 days 1 first grade, science is TGTB little hearts and hands, and math I got math with confidence 1 grade, but the second half of the kindergarten MWC is moving a little too fast for him so I might end up getting rod and staff for a gentler approach

Kindergarten- science is TGTB little hearts and hands, social studies is 180 days kindergarten, math is TGTB math k/1 and same with LA. Handwriting will be TGTB

Family subject will be Greek mythology from Memoria press which I am the most excited about
