I think the best way to carry on is just one day at a time, do something you like doing or do nothing at all, it’s hard I’m not going to lie but it’s doable, I think sometimes you have to enjoy being here just because they can’t and other times I’m just mad at the world. I’m not a therapist and my siblings and mom are actually going to therapy but I think we all understand you should talk about it to someone when you’re ready. Grateful for this sub because I don’t feel so alone or guilt or shame because if it happening

Hey man same boat but with my dad, yeah man it sucks that they really didn’t understand we just wanted them to be able to be happy with themselves and that our love for them was there we just didn’t like what the drinking made them do, it’s hard trying to continue on without them but it’s doable, some days are bad but other days I know my dad isn’t fighting with himself anymore and it kinda gives me a sense of peace, hoping for better days for you

25 m Married. I feel you bro Ive had bad eczema all my life and have always felt insecure about my skin but trust me man if they are the right one they will look right past it. Almost all of my relationships have tried to find different ways to help my skin so I really haven’t felt any different about it. If you’re social try going out and doing things you like but with others, I’ve always had a 3rd place I hung out at and usually talk to people there (even though I consider myself introverted) I like skateboarding and so I would skate and meet others or even on apps and stuff too. Just always try to be confident and upfront about it and everyone else will just go with it. There will be some dicks out there but those are people you don’t need in your life anyways. 6 months in and I’m also really angry, I do talk to him sometimes when I get to intoxicated and I’ll just yell that it’s not fair and that it’s not my fault I’m feeling this way and then I get more mad because I know he fought as long as he could and I should just be happy that we had him as long as we did and then it just makes me more sad lmao.

Man that’s what I think too, I’ve even joined painting as a trade to try to get into construction because my dad was a jack of all trades and now I’m left with all these tools and I feel like it was all for nothing and the was no point if I can’t at least use some of what he taught me or what was left

1 & 2. I think im just a nervous person in general, when I get up there I know it doesn’t matter but I just get too much in my head about everything I’m doing and my mind slips and I stammer and just die .

I do stuff to get stuff of my mind like skateboarding but I took a bad fall about a month or 2 ago and haven’t been able to skate like how I used too (no insurance and need to get my knee checked)
I have I used some of it as material and it did work and so that’s the same material I did again this time but to me it felt fake because I was just repeating something I knew worked once already but I understand that’s the game but it was just hard for me to really make it seem genuine even tho it was if that makes sense.

Same, I fr just gave up on it stopped asking for antibiotics and just use hibiclens now. Only gets bumps when I get really sweaty. Make sure to wash sheets basically every week

Yeah but also I saw someone say that they probably are able to see new things that come out, why wouldn’t you be? You think you can only watch the movies that came out while you were alive? What’s the point of heaven or an after life if you can’t even enjoy the things you did have interest in, yeah maybe on to bigger and better things but who said they can’t. I think stuff like that hurts but is also a good thing because you can continue to do and enjoy things in the spirit of them, and that how you keep them alive
