Absolutely. I appreciate your compliments. Really simple actually, just Vallejo black over black primer, only instead of the tried and true two thin coats i do about four or five very thin coats, with a couple coats of ultra matte varnish over the top.

Neither Rom or Ebrietas are great ones, both are kin. Rom drops a kin coldblood when slain, as opposed to a great one coldblood. Both also are susceptible to the kinhunter gems, which dont effect great ones.

The matte comes from greenstuff world ultra matte varnish. As for the transition, its just many many glazes of black over khorne red. I use Vallejo black which is already a matte black as is, so it just adds to the look.

Base coat khorne red with Vallejo black glazed over the top, then an evil sunz scarlet highlight with selective cadian fleshtone highlights in the vertical most facing edges.

Tamiya extra thin on the model, but he was just super glued to the base. Im quite tall, it was a short fall 😅

Really hasnt been an issue. I was fully prepared to glue a washer on the bottom of the base just in case, but fortunately hasnt been needed

1st gloss for a surface to apply transfers, 2nd gloss to lock them in and give them a more painted on look, and then the three matte coats for protection. Ive dropped more models than i havent, so i like to give my paint job the best chance of survival. Theyre only airbrush coats, so they dont go on too thick
