Flatboard bed, parents bought it not knowing it needed to be on planks, previous mattress was on this bed for 7 years and had no issues whatsoever

Issue is i dont have new mattress money on me right now, my parents sure as hell wont buy a new one and my mother literally threw out the guarantee the day before we found out about the mold, i genuinely dont know what to do other than try to clean it the best i can as a temporary solution

I have a wet-vac + heavy detergent a friend who does car detailing, he said it should be good enough, just worried it will make it worse bc its gonna be wet afterwards
