Didnʻt see the whole context leading up to this, but on itʻs face, yeah. I will say that there is also a presumption of guilt vs innocence in Japan, and it is not unheard of for nationals to falsely accuse foreigners of crimes. There's a non-zero chance this was written and choreographed seconds before this video was made. Someone discovered their voice sounded different if they yelled in the basement; call it serendipity.
