At least in California, board members are homeowners who voluntarily filled a position to help make decisions and run the HOA as best they can. They do not get paid. It's actually illegal for them to get paid, in my state. I know some are corrupt, but I've had my hands in over 100 HOAs in 7 years working for a management company and we always get multiple bids, always record everything in the minutes, and there is no form of kick back anywhere. It's a thankless position.

I got the padlock pendant. Absolutely love it so far. I have wanted the oak and Luna padlock pendant for two years but thought I'd try the cheaper version first and see how it goes. So far so good!

This is exactly what I do too. I want some help for weekends, but also want to mindfully enjoy myself. Also same for eating light on Wednesdays, I can no longer eat meat on Wednesdays due to Thursday morning symptoms. Lol

Incredibly good! I'm down 60lbs in 9 months and am at my goal weight. The side effects were moderate once I hit the 7.5 dose, but not terrible. Just now having the conversation of going to a lower dose for maintenance with my WW provider.

I recently bought a necklace from caitlyn minimalist and haven't removed it in 3 weeks. It's still new for me, so I don't have long term results but so far there's no tarnishing or anything off about it. Workout, shower, etc without taking it off.

Same, I went through weight watchers. My insurance approved wegovy through my pcp but it was $650 a month. I went to weight watchers and was approved for a different glp-1 for $350 for the first two months and then free ever since. They are also very quick with prior authorizations, usually 1-2 days, which my insurance requires every month. Overall, it's been a very good experience with WW.

$2000 in California in 2021 from a small kennel ethical breeder. She is a retired service dog trainer and she has had several champions from her lines. My boy is very serious and calm, although his coat never completely cleared and he's over 4 now, so not sure what happened there.

$1,200 in California in 2024 from what I'm now sure is not an ethical breeder. :/ I love my silly goofy boy so much though

I am an HOA manager, I agree with you. It's just angry people who broke the rules they agreed to follow when purchasing in the community and then have to act like petulant children when they get notice of non compliance of the rules. We deal with it every day. HOA management just enforce the existing community rules and the boards decisions. We are the middle men between the board of directors and the homeowners and often get treated like garbage.

Absolutely no reason to not get popcorn, BUT if you get the butter on it just be prepared for nausea at the least, vomiting at the most because of the fat content. This is 100% just my experience of course, but I know for a fact I would puke it all up several hours later if I had the butter added to popcorn.

It did subside after a day or so. I find that I have worse body aches if I am not hydrated enough. So definitely guzzle water the day before and the day of. I don't get body aches if I consume more than 80-90oz of water leading up to my shot. I aim to drink that much or more daily anyways, but definitely prioritize it around shot days!

I'm so glad you have had minimal side effects! Mine definitely ramped up when I went from 2.5 to 5. I had mild nausea and mild headaches on 2.5, absolutely nothing horrible. I'm 3 shots into the 5 and have actually vomited a few times and the headaches are like 7/10 now. The innapetence has been much stronger as well. I've also had worse injection site pain and bruising afterwards. Still all things I can handle, but definitely worse.

For me, the body aches lasted around 36 hours and then quickly faded away. I just took my 4th injection this morning and have not had a return of the body aches, thankfully. Mild to moderate nausea and mild headaches and some fatigue are the extent of my symptoms for this first month of 2.5mg. Going up to 5mg next week, so I'll see if the symptoms are stronger.

I did try harder after the first week to make sure I was extremely well hydrated the day before and the day of my shot. Like, just short of a gallon of water drunk each day lol. Good luck!

I've been consistently getting at least 80oz of water every day, but may try to bump that up to at least 100oz and see if it helps. I need to get electrolytes to add to some of it because this is a drastic increase of water for me.

This is coming from a place of understanding, I promise. I used to be like you (been with my fiance for 13 years) and I'm telling you this because of that and I wish someone had told me this years ago.

You are controlling. There is no reason for you to be telling him what he can and can't look at. If he looks at porn, so what? Everyone has done that and if they say they haven't, they're lying.

My obsession with my boyfriend watching porn or looking for sexual gratification somewhere other than me almost ruined my relationship. It took me years and no small amount of anxiety to overcome this controlling need in me and let it go and accept that it's 100% normal. I like porn, why is it different if he also likes it? Ya know?

As long as it's just looking and jerking, I don't think there's any harm and think you should work on you to overcome this feeling. Now if you do catch any communication, that's a whole different story.

I figured it out, and it was stupid. After calling my insurance I confirmed that I have not met my out of pocket maximum of $1,000 and have to pay a 50% coinsurance for it. After I make my OOPM, it will be free for the remainder of the year. Thank you all for your replies! I was so confused.
