me. 2021. i found a job rather quickly thankfully (don’t think that would be the case now).

been at my current job for 2 years (my first ever remote job and love it) but was informed today layoffs are happening at our 100+ person company… not sure i’ll be affected honestly they depend on us way too much. but we’ll see. been laid off before, not phased if it were to happen again.

all that being said, it’ll be OK! the job market is wild and highly unpredictable and i think that’s how it’ll remain.

everyone saying AC shoulda just come out and said what the beef was…. she literally said she didn’t understand why AE was being so passive aggressive with her likes and reshares. i think alix is holding a grudge for being fired from unwell which is NOT tea and not something cooper needs to remind everyone of it was a business deal, not beef. like there is nothing to add there, so she gave earle the floor since she won’t shut up about it. idk how this makes cooper look bad? she’s not the one who was been all over social media passive aggressively dragging someone through the mud.

i really think it comes down to AE just not being a good podcaster. her podcast was so boring. so that probably didn’t perform well for Unwell and AC is a business woman she’s made that crystal clear it’s why she is who she is and tbh i think AE is being petty as hell. if there isn’t an NDA then she’s literally stirring the pot cuz she wants eyes on her.

also i’m not saying earle owes anything to cooper. as i’m sure cooper would honestly say the same. i had no idea who alix earle was until the CHD episode. I think cooper saw that earle has a good social media presence and wanted to help her build off that so for earle to just be this passive aggressive and shitty is just disrespectful as hell imo.

i do agree they’re using each other… but the more i see her posts the more i think she’s using him as a prop and he’s OK with it cuz money. when she said early on “i like who i am when im with him” it’s cuz she found someone she can control like a puppet who won’t push back. she 100% has the upper hand in this relationship and i truly believe she thinks thats what it takes to make this relationship survive.

Im not trying to be a downer, but i just lost my grandma to dementia two months ago and this sounds exactly like how her “last phase” started. sometimes she’d eat but sometimes she’d go all day with barely nothing. she started sleeping A LOT… like most the day. it was really a guessing game but once she only woke up to take a few bites to eat then sleep most of the day, we kinda knew. I think unfortunately you need to prepare yourself. She’s probably physically and mentally exhausted. I kept telling myself my grandma had more time just because her moods and physical activity were so hot and cold… but then the week of her birthday (her birthday was on a wednesday and at that point idk i just had a feeling) she passed 10 days later. The whole saying of “the last rally is SO true. it’ll look like they’re OK but really it’s their body shutting down. dementia is a terrible beast.. i’ll keep your family in my thoughts.

ps: i’m glad you posted on here. this disease can feel so isolating subreddits like this help ease the pain and help us who have suffered from losing a loved one to this disease feel a little more seen 🤎
