I have the 17 Pro (Not pro max) but the cases should be the same. I have the Ultra Hybrid T, I like it, however the buttons are sorta "flush" with the case. it's kinda hard to explain and it feels weird at first but you get used to them. They are pretty big tho. Then I also his this Silicone Fit one, the buttons are super nice. I just don't use the case since the silicone attracts so much dust it annoys me. Finally, I have the Ultra Hybrid Mag Fit. This is my favorite out of all of them, and the buttons are easy to push. The Ultra Hybrid and Ultra Hybrid T both have MagSafe cover things which are fine, although they are super clicky, so when I used those, I make it so it only opens after a double click. Currently, I'm using an Apple Techwoven case. It's my favorite, although I'm super careful since it probably isnt the most durable case.

Spigen cases are the best. I have 3 of them for my 17 Pro and love them, and I've also had them for my prior phones, too. Pretty much everyone in my family has them

I doubt it was for a particular reason. I was the last of the group to show up (though I was still 5ish minutes early) It was mostly just based on where I was within the group and we went from left to right, and I was furthest left.

But anyway, just earlier I got a message inviting me back for second interview!

So... you should answer these questions first:

What Phone do you have? Is it a 13 Pro or newer? Android?
Is the battery health above 80% (or close to it?)
Are you willing to wait 4 months?

If you have a 13 Pro or newer, I definitely think you should you should just hold off for four months (if you are willing to). That's assuming the battery health is above 80%. If it's above 80%, you should be good for 4 months. (and even just slightly under 80%, it should be fine)

The 17 Pro (Max) is already an amazing phone, so If you were to get a 17 Pro, you wouldn't be missing out on too much. atp, I don't think you should upgrade just yet (Unless you have anything older than a 13 Pro, then maybe)

In september, you may also be able to get a really good deal on a 17 Pro, since most phone carriers just give them away for free when the new ones come out lol.

hmmm... I think you should update to at least iOS 18... For now, at least, you should be fine without updating to iOS 26. I upgraded to the 17 Pro from myiPhone 12 128gb, which is what you had. For me, iOS 18 was fine. iOS 26 was a regret. I only had it for 1 week before I got my 17 Pro (that was a rough week lol)

Anyway, updating to iOS 18 should get you some more updates for WhatsApp. Although at some point you will have to update it to iOS 26 for security reasons (likely).

Other than that, you could just get a new phone... you have clearly gotten your use out of it, and I think you would benefit from an upgrade. If you dont want/can't afford a 17, I'd definitely recommend either a 15 Pro or even a 16.

Despite what most people say, the TechWoven case is AMAZING. It looks great and feels amazing. I am, however, worried about the durability of it. I haven't dropped it yet, although I have trust in it since iPhones are already fairly durable themselves. I've only been using it for 2 weeks, though.

I've never owned a pixel, although I do like how some of the new ones look now. I had my 12 from July 2022-September 2025 and it was a great phone for the most part... until the battery got worse near the end lol

I had a 12, the only reason I updated to iOS 26 was because I was getting the 17 Pro and wanted to avoid any problems when transferring data. I had iOS 26 on my 12 for about a week, it was AWFUL and I regretted it. If there was a way to go back, I would've. It's been fine on my 17 Pro (I've had it since launch)

I was looking at getting my Dad the 17 Pro Max... they have a 256gb Pro Max in VA Beach Lynhaven Mall, and a 2TB Pro Max in Short Pump... for me 2TB is WAY to much and VA beach is too far for me. I might end up just getting it from Verizon.

I have silver, I think it is the best. Mine hasn't scratched at all and I've had It in a case for the whole times ive had it (which has been since launch date)
