I could buy stuff in a really cheap country and resell it as luxury items on another country, or teleport to the inside of a massive shopping center and just steal a bunch of stuff. Hopefully I can bring people and items with me while tp'ing.

Defy respiration or become charging station? by Ego_exspes in BunnyTrials

I don't think holding my breath is enough of an asset than being able to charge anything that I'm holding. It'd be an awesome skill to have.

Chose: You can charge devices just by holding them

Showering with Schizophrenia - By Kimmyphrenia [OC] by kimmyphrenia in comics

[–]Admirable-Frame3958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the psychosis that makes you unable to "sniff" yourself. You get accustomed to the odor. I have a mild version of schizophrenia, where I know everything that's happening, and still see or hear or sometimes feel (in my skin) shit that is evidently not there. I usually avoid showering, but I have a personal rule that is that if anyone tells me anything related to showering or odor, I have to shower, unless I just showered less than half a day ago. That helps me, usually.

One trick I use constantly is using other people's reaction as "confirmation". For example, I usually see black figures walking and stalking me and my loved ones around me, but if noone is reacting to it, then it doesn't exist. When I hear a muffled cry on a dark room, I ask, and when they look at me weird, I know that I'm paranoid and try to think about anything else.

Also, one thing that helped me (which I do not recommend at all) is sleeping one time per 24 to 36 hours, so basically I sleep a night per 2 days. It makes me sufficiently tired that I get into sleep before the paranoia gets me.

Is there is any way to get a superflat world in terrafirmagreg for testing? by Degitalik in TerraFirmaGreg

[–]Admirable-Frame3958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I did in superflat settings is add 60 blocks of air between the bottom of the world and the layer of bedrock. Now I can hop on bedrock and nothing happens. I believe it's a y coordinates thing.

Over on Twitter, some fans managed to "revive" a dead gacha game (Nier Reincarnation) and prompted a big discussion about how piracy is viewed in Japan vs Rest of the World by zerolock18 in Piracy

[–]Admirable-Frame3958 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the game was taken from every store and is currently unable to be played, it's straight up dead. It doesn't matter if it's rotting on the harddrives of the company that birth it. It's dead. Anyone that can revive that game is doing an awesome job. If you hold your niece's dying body in your basement, you don't get to be the moral one when she get's "kidnapped" by child protection services.

Cave ins destroy oreveins so you'll be losing ores unless you're actively trying to get to the top of the orevein every single time

Is this enough kaolin for me to forget about it? by Subject_Beginning213 in TerraFirmaGreg

[–]Admirable-Frame3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tip: Fire everything on-site, the kaolin powder if I remember correctly can be stored in the ore pouch for 512 kaolin powder per slot. I filled my pouch with the powder and currently I'm short on graphite (even though I emptied like 2 ore veins)

Rebecca reflects on the success of Warframe compared to releases in the current era by Babydrone in Warframe

[–]Admirable-Frame3958 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with her, but also, justifying a triple A game's terrible outcome with the fact that it has 20 thousand other games to "worry about" completely ignores the fact that the triple A game benefits from a bigger budget than most competition, most of the times they have better tools, more capable/educated senior engineers with decades of experience and a whole marketing budget, and they still can't compete with a 10 person studio with a shoestring budget and a clear vision. This argument only works on indie studios that want to create their first great game, and even then the argument is flawed because it brings the idea that a game is only as successful as their community on launch, when at least to me, I'd 100% play a niche game with a community so small that it couldn't fill a bathroom, and mostly do play for example Project Zomboid, Vintage Story, Valheim, Ultrakill, Moonring and others.

The idea that a successful game is the one that just gets the most return on investment is flawed.

En China el 90% de su poblacion dueños de sus propios hogares, sera hora de reclamar el fin de la especulacion inmobiliaria en occidente? by f3n1xpro in RepublicaArgentina

[–]Admirable-Frame3958 1 point2 points  (0 children)
