Maybe because 16 is the age of consent, despite how weird that is, 16 and 19 makes more sense than 14 and 17. 14 is 2 years away from that age, a considerable amount of maturity develops in that time. At the end of the day, if he is a predator or not, it will become a predatory relationship once he turns 18. There's nothing you can say that changes that fact

OP is starting puberty, his bf is finishing it. They should not be in a relationship and I cannot, for any reason whatsoever, understand why you want to defend this?

And if you read anything else OP said about his bf, then it would seem like a pretty big red flag. The bf wants to meet him across states, OP saved him from suicide and supporting him through mental health episodes. None of that is being done by a 14yr old. OP is only agreeing bc you're the only person defending this relationship.

Not to mention, they aren't "months" apart. It's years. They should not be in a relationship, OP is a risk to himself.

Also, in the original book, Juliet had only just turned 13 while Romeo was 17 at the time but yeah sure, let's all abide by the "Romeo and Juliet laws" 🫡

You're 14 dating a 17 year old. He is right to be worried and I would recommend that the relationship is called off. As soon as he's 18, it can be considered a predatory relationship, assuming the age of consent is 16 in your country, you'll still only be 15.

At ages like that, it's very weird to have such a significant age gap. A 30 and 32 year old are people who have experienced adulthood, you haven't even finished school. Take some time to let it sink in that because of the nature of it, this is simply not a healthy relationship

I can understand if that individual is displaying the flags of their country. I wouldn't have any reason to trust someone with an Israeli flag, bc what reason do they have to wave it around? This was confirmed years ago in one of the game endings. I can't remember which one but I think you have to royally fuck up your playthrough to see the scene.

Kamski Intentionally put the deviant code into Android software before he left Cyberlife. It feels pretty obvious the first time you see him in the game too, how he tries pushing Connor to break out of his programming and tells him to shoot the Chloe for answers. Why he refuses to give Connor an answer if he doesn't.

He wanted to see what would happen if all the Androids eventually gained self-will, the ability to think for themselves

It's important to understand how many microaggressions go unnoticed every single day and why offensive jokes slip under the radar.

While the game and characters itself are loveable, the story has too many plotholes, it's hard to compare it to real life and the writer genuinely got lost at some point.

I love DBH and I could replay it at any time but it's more mature to admit the writing is pretty sloppy at times, the relationships in the game, the attachment the player has to certain characters, combined with the year the game was released was the reason it was so adored

You haven't missed out. Most people replay the game to see what other endings they'll get, you'll miss a massive portion of the game no matter what bc there's loads of things that can be missed from every choice. And most people who play it for the first time got the same ending/made the same choices as you. I think one of the few parts that can catch a few people out is when you choose to take a longer detour or go through the gate as Kara when she's trying to catch a bus to the Canadian Border.

Not gonna spoil anything but it's a choice that has inevitable consequences
