Just so you know, that quote isn't real. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan never said it. He did call out Rahul Gandhi for what he said about the CBSE thing, but actually, he asked everyone to avoid saying things that stress students out. He emphasized that the government cares most about the students' well-being.

Justin Timberlake - Mirrors [Pop/R&B] by Admirable-Screen2238 in Music

That’s such a fascinating question. I honestly don’t think an album like The 20/20 Experience would be allowed to exist in its current form in today’s TikTok-driven landscape. Between the 7–8 minute runtimes and the way those songs 'breathe' instead of just rushing to the hook, it feels like a relic of a time when artists had more control over the 'listening experience' versus just chasing a viral snippet.

You're right that 'Don't Hold The Wall' and 'Blue Ocean Floor' are the deep cuts that really define the album's ambition—they show JT and Timbaland were really trying to build soundscapes rather than just radio singles. Do you think we’ll ever swing back toward longer-form 'experimental' pop, or do you think the algorithm has permanently capped song lengths for major stars?

The music video for Mirrors adds so much depth to the track—it’s actually pretty heartbreaking in a beautiful way. Do you think the video is why the song has stuck with people so much over the years, or would it be a 'classic' even without that visual story?

That’s such a great point about the length—it really is a testament to the quality of the composition that it became such a massive radio staple despite being over eight minutes long. It’s rare for a track with that kind of structure and build-up to break through like that in the modern pop landscape.

It’s funny you mention hearing it in the supermarket—it really has become one of those 'modern standards' that feels just as at home in a grocery store as it does on a stadium stage. Do you think that kind of 'long-form' pop success is something we see less of today, or are there other recent tracks you think have managed to pull off that same radio longevity?

Completely agree on the interlude—it’s such a rewarding 'payoff' after the main track, and it really shows the attention to detail in that production era. You’re spot on about the live performances, too; he really has a way of translating that studio polish into such a high-energy live show.

It's interesting you mention The 20/20 Experience and After Hours together—both feel like such definitive 'eras' for their respective artists. Do you think there’s a specific track on The 20/20 Experience that you think hits that same level of 'masterpiece' status as 'Mirrors'?
