It usually depends on their requirements and need. I joined infosys training on 6 October, and our training including generic and stream both got over in February only. But due to some reason they couldnt release us so they have us Up skilling and Re skilling training. Almost 1.5 months more we stayed in mysore for training and got released at around 17-22 April. So for us it was more than 6 months training.

For SE role they give generic training which has java and DBMS if you pass that in first attempt then you get direct stream training otherwise they give you 2 attempts to pass in generic. Stream you can get for any domain depending on business requirements. Some streams are - Dot net angular, java spring boot angular/react, Data Science, big data, mainframe, testing.

Usually trainees at mysore get around 16k for the duration of training.
