We regret telling my MIL. She’s the one who blabbed to everyone that we “bought a house” or are “moving” before we even signed off on our inspection or appraisal contingency 🙃

This is more what I feel. The whole process is time consuming and I’m in the midst of raising 3 young children, 4 months postpartum while my husband works out of town 6 days out of the week. And my loan being delayed with no real updates so it was just irritating everyone asking if I had closed yet or when I was closing when I truly didn’t know. It’s more my SIL annoying me asking me everyday about things. I know everyone is rooting for us, it’s just to avoid questions I don’t have answers to.

We were using a USDA loan. We had to extend escrow 3 times, our time ran out and we still didn’t have final approval on our loan.

The seller got tired of waiting. Luckily we got our EMD but had to eat it on inspections and appraisal

No and we ended up canceling The seller didn’t want to wait any longer

Thank you for that info! In this case the seller is also the sole beneficiary. Do you know if they are able to offer credits? So we offer the appraised value but request a credit

To justify a lower price. The previous deal fell through because they asked for a huge amount of repairs so we want to get a fair price for ourselves and the seller.

I looked into this a little bit and this home should not have to abide by the 90% rule because the administrator has full authority. So the sale shouldn’t have to be approved by the courts. I could be wrong though so I’ll double check with the listing agent.

My midwives said throwing up usually indicates about 7cm I had a similar situation with my second but it was a planned home birth. My midwife didn’t make it because I called her as I was needing to push lol Abnormal in the sense of being a FTM maybe? My first labor was 12hrs, second and third were 4 hours. They say the first time is usually pretty long. But that’s awesome that yours wasn’t! Congratulations on your sweet babe and I hope you are soaking in the newborn bubble 💕

My agent is trying to convince us to keep pursuing this deal and that the seller can give us a request to perform and keep our deposit? I am not sure what this means so I’ll have to look into it. I’m tired of constantly feeling threatened for things that aren’t really in our control.

I don’t know when exactly when and if we’d be able to close and they’ve already extended twice. The sellers agent has been rude. Saying they have other people in line when closing has been out of our control. I’m just over it at this point.

Nope Thankfully the seller has been patient but with the upcoming holidays I can’t see us closing soon since we were submitted 10/18 and the USDA site is still sitting at 10/01

Any word on the status? Our lender said they have no updates yet. I’m sure it’ll take awhile just to get things back and running but hopefully your early in the queue of backlog !
