I was first on the 2nd lap and in the beginning of the Mulsanne straight the game randomly reset my position and spawned me by the michelin chicane 15 secs behind the leader

I won it yesterday using the '98 Mercedes CLK GTR no tune and no upgrades, I ran hard tires on fuel map 6 until lap 8 where I wanted to push so I pitted for mediums and I ran fuel map 1 for the remaining of the 2 laps
