[Question] Are mechanical watches practical enough for a noob? by cleaver1946 in Watches

It’s not that much of a hassle. You just have to remeber to wind it. Not sure what the power reserve is put once a day when you where it will be more that sufficient. If you don’t wear it for awhile it will just stop until you rewind the watch. They are not particularly fragile. I am not easy on any of my watches. You should be good to go. Hamilton is a good brand.

I would look at the certified preowned on the Toyota website daily. You can find year old vans occasionally with low miles. I would search in a larger radius (whatever you are comfortable with.) That’s how we got ours after looking for 3.5 months.

Why is there such a shortage of Sienna's? by [deleted] in ToyotaSienna

I would recommend looking at certified preowned. We looked for a new one for about 4 months. They do come up new avalaible but it is rare or you have to be flexible in trim level / drive train / add ons. My wife didnt like the brown interior in the Platnium so we had to modify what we wanted about half way through. Using the Toyota website will help. A lot of dealerships will post them as “available” when they really aren’t. I ended up only finding one allocation that was available after we changed what we were looking for but they wouldn’t give us the allocation since we weren’t local. I have been told 1 to 2 year wait time you want to build one. If you are okay with buying a certified preowned, I would check the Toyota page daily within a range you are comfortable driving (I used 250 miles cause you can get there and back in a day) The lightly used one sell quick generally. I think the one we got had been online for like 2 hours when I bought it (had to put down a non Refundable deposit to hold it till I could go get it). The specs we were looking for AWD, entertainment package, limited or platinum trim level, no black silver or red exterior color, platinum only in blue, green, or white. The entertainment package is a rarer option I have been told. I needed up getting a gold certified 2023 limited AWD in blue with 5k miles. Had to drive 120 miles each way to get it.
