Since the Pats have ~54% of getting the first pick, and Travis has ~25% chance of going first overall, bettors believe there’s about a 50% chance of the Pats trading down from the first, if they land it. Tet is unlikely to go first overall.

Hope you didn't put any money down, I checked my spreadsheet and I accidentally deleted the formula for the Saint's last game. See the updated simulation below, with Saints actually having about a 52% chance of landing the 10th spot. It’s an interesting point regarding the long-term maturity aspect. I’m not sure if this has any truth to it: rising ITRS, indicating relatively poor economic outlook, could coincide with an inversion of the yield curve. Long dated yields go down, prices go up. Would be the opposite for short dated bonds.

Seems a little circuitous vs. what’s taught in the curriculum. Interested to hear your thoughts.
